One thing that is uniting consumers worldwide is the desire to recover and protect their futures by building more resilience, including by better managing stress.

Stress management has been a critical consumer issue for years. Still, the pandemic accentuated underlying concerns – 2 in 3 adults in the United States say they have experienced increased stress over the course of the pandemic.1

To help companies create solutions to support consumers to become more resilient to the pressures of life, we polled over 3500 consumers2 from Australia, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States to learn more about the types of products they consume to help manage their stress levels.

Here’s a few highlights of what we learned:

  • Italy and Germany have the highest usage of supplements to support stress
  • Stress support supplements are most popular with female consumers aged 35+
  • 84% of supplement users are willing to pay a premium for the product if it is scientifically proven
